When working ropes and safety ropes are tethered to an existing structure which is called part of a building or temporary structure erected, the following criteria must be met:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The anchor points and the building structure must be able to withstand the maximum load of the working rope and safety rope of at least 1200 kg in the direction of the load drop.<\/li>\n
  2. Buildings or structures and mooring stakes must be assessed and tested by supervisors.<\/li>\n
  3. Copies of documentation relating to the work to be performed with the rope access system must be kept at the workplace when the system is in use. These documents include: standard work procedures, risk assessments, rigging plans, site checklists, insurance, chemical safety data sheets (SDS), emergency telephone numbers, reports on the results of maintenance and repair of mooring stake installations.<\/li>\n
  4. The first and periodic inspection of the structure and anchorage points has been carried out by the Labor Inspector or K3 Expert who specializes in the rope access section and a permit has been issued to validate the use. Control is carried out mainly on the possibility of corrosion aspects of the structure or mooring stakes and several other aspects that may result in unsafe use of the system and its equipment.<\/li>\n
  5. If the mooring stakes are located outside the building and are exposed to the weather for a long time, it must be ensured that the mooring stakes are safe to install for all weather conditions. The mooring pegs must be properly protected to avoid moisture.<\/li>\n
  6. If mooring stakes are permanently placed outside the building, their placement must be at least 2 meters from the edge of the building.<\/li>\n
  7. Each permanent mooring system followed by its installation, must be accompanied by documentation that needs to be available at the workplace (building management) and must always be available if required by the rope access technician before the work process.<\/li>\n
  8. The document must contain at least information about:
    a. Installation company\/person, date of installation and complete guide to using the Angkor system.
    b. Initial risk assessment (Initial risk assessment)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    1. The equipment to be used must be selected which meets the standards in accordance with the provisions of the legislation and is in accordance with the intended use.<\/li>
    2. If in doubt the standards used in the manufacture of equipment and their use, it is strongly recommended to contact the manufacturer.<\/li>
    3. The selection of equipment must take into account compatibility with other equipment and the safety function of the equipment is not disturbed or interferes with other systems.<\/li>
    4. The equipment manufacturer must provide info about the product. This information must be read and understood by workers before using the equipment.<\/li>
    5. Equipment should be visually inspected prior to use to ensure that it is in a safe condition and working properly.<\/li>
    6. Procedures shall be applied to the control and maintenance of equipment. Records of maintenance of all equipment must be kept properly.<\/li>
    7. It is forbidden to make modifications or changes to the specifications of the equipment without obtaining permission from the supervisor or the manufacturer because it may cause changes in the performance of the equipment. Any changes or modifications must be recorded and the equipment specially labeled.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

      Equipment and personal protective equipment that need to be used in work adapted to the work environment, namely:<\/p>

      1. Work clothes that blend from the hands, shoulders, shoulders, body to the hips, and legs. This type of clothing is usually called a wearpack or overalls. This garment in the pocket must be closed in the form of a zipper (zip) and not in the form of a general fastening (button).<\/li>
      2. Full body harness must be comfortable to use and does not interfere with movement when working, easy to adjust to fit the size.<\/li>
      3. Safety shoes (safety shoes\/protective footwear) with strong construction and metal toe caps, comfortable to wear, and able to protect from water\/wet.<\/li>
      4. Gloves, to protect fingers and skin from extreme weather, hazardous materials, and tools used.<\/li>
      5. Glasses (eye protection), to protect the eyes from dust, hazardous particles, sunlight\/ultraviolet, chemicals, explosive materials and other potential hazards that can cause irritation and damage to the eyes.<\/li>
      6. Respiratory protective equipment (respiratory protective equipment), this equipment must be used in a work environment where there is a risk of breathing difficulties due to hazardous chemicals, dust, or particulate matter.<\/li>
      7. Hearing protection equipment, this tool is used when the sound level is above the threshold value.<\/li>
      8. Life jackets or buoyancy are used for work carried out above the water surface, for example on offshore oil drilling structures (offshore base). This equipment must have a design that does not interfere with the rope access equipment especially when going down or up.<\/li>
      9. The rope used is divided into 2 characteristics, namely small elasticity (static) and rope with large elasticity (dynamic). The rope used for the rope system must be ensured:
        a. The rope used as the working line and the safety line must have the same diameter.
        b. Ropes with low elasticity (static rope) and high elasticity (dynamic) ropes used in rope access systems must meet the standard.<\/li>
      10. Connection rope (cow's tail \/ lanyard), namely a short rope that connects the body safety belt (full body harness) with work ropes, safety ropes, safety stakes, safety stakes, and other safety equipment and equipment. It must be ensured that the connection rope used must be based on standards.<\/li>
      11. Head protector
        a. Head protection must be worn properly by every worker involved in work at heights, whether at the bottom at height.
        b. Workers are required to wear head protection according to the standard.
        c. The head harness worn by the Strap Access Technician has at least three different places that connect to the helmet shell and includes a chin strap.<\/li>
      12. Full body harness It must be ensured that the full body harness used for rope access work is in accordance with the standard.<\/li>
      13. Rope Clamp It must be ensured that the rope clamp used in the rope access system complies with the standard.<\/li>
      14. Mobile fall arrester, it must be ensured that the mobile fall arrester used in the rope access system is in accordance with the standard.<\/li>
      15. Descender, It must be ensured that the lowering device used in the rope access system is in accordance with the standard.<\/li><\/ol>
        Equipment and personal protective equipment must be ensured that it complies with the following standards, namely:<\/div>
        1. Indonesian National Standard.<\/li>
        2. Laboratory test standards.<\/li>
        3. Independent international test standards, such as the British Standard, the American National Standards Institute, or other international testing standards bodies.<\/li><\/ol>

          The service life of personal protective equipment and equipment made of synthetic fabrics\/textiles is as follows:<\/p>
